The Orchid Premium Hotel
Hue Street Food Tour

Tour Itinerary

When talking about Hue cuisine, most people immediately think of its meticulous preparation and diverse presentation. In Hue City, there are hundreds of dishes that can be roughly divided into three categories: rustic, vegetarian, and “Royal” cuisine. Tourists often experience Hue cuisine in elegant restaurants featuring elaborately prepared dishes, but they rarely get the chance to enjoy Hue’s rustic food (Hue street food), which is deeply connected to the daily lives of local people.

In contrast, street food in Hue is simple, and made from basic ingredients, yet it offers unique and captivating flavors characterized by boldness and spiciness. An interesting story explains why Hue cuisine is spicier than Northern dishes and saltier than Southern ones—a story we look forward to sharing with you in person.

Our tour program focuses primarily on street food, aiming not only to provide you with a fresh perspective on Hue cuisine but also to help you understand the culture of Hue City and the everyday life of its people.
